This unique micro-crystalline quartz is not amethyst but a form of rose quartz, with its pastel violet to light pink-purple color caused by manganese and titanium inclusions.
 
Designed to truly showcase the stones, I wanted to allow a moving part to add some depth and dimension to the design.
 
The stones remind me deeply of the light of the Valar, or Valinor from Tolkeins earlier works. The light, silvery, and lavender tones make for such a unique stone. Each cut shines in a different light. Truly fabulous material to work with.
